A heartfelt thank you to our generous donors

Since the 2024/25 Rotary year, the Rotary Club Bali Nusa Dua has been supporting a small but highly impactful stunting prevention program in the village of Pidpid, Karangasem, in collaboration with Yayasan Nexuba.

Nexuba (Nexus for Education & Health of Bali) is a locally rooted foundation dedicated to improving the health and future opportunities of children in disadvantaged communities. Working closely with village midwives and Posyandu services, Nexuba not only provides essential nutritional support, but also educates parents on nutrition, hygiene, and child care — creating sustainable change that goes beyond immediate assistance.

At the beginning, we supported five children suffering from stunting — a condition that, if left untreated, can permanently affect a child’s physical and cognitive development. Encouraged by the commitment of the families and the first visible improvements, we expanded the program during the 2025/26 Rotary year to support ten children.

Today, we are seeing real progress. According to the latest evaluations, 4 out of 10 children have already reached normal growth levels. Most of the remaining children are also showing steady improvement, although continued support and monitoring are still necessary, especially in more severe cases. Behind every number is a child gaining strength, a parent gaining confidence, and a family finding renewed hope.

Looking ahead, RCBND is exploring the continuation of this initiative during the 2026/27 Rotary year. With sustained support, we can help these children not only achieve better nutrition today, but also build a stronger and healthier future.
