For a sustainable water supply

The population of Mumbul (Bali) and the 12 surrounding villages suffered from acute water shortages. For a long time, the authorities had been looking for solutions to improve the water supply. Unfortunately, these failed again and again due to the necessary know-how and the lack of financial resources. Together with the local authorities, NEXUBA looked for technical and financial possibilities. Finally, the "water project" was realised between 2016 and 2018.

On the one hand, NEXUBA co-financed the project and, on the other hand, commissioned an experienced engineer with the project. Under his direction, a wide system of water pipes and several reservoirs were built. 4,000 people now have easier access to water and especially to clean drinking water. As a result, child mortality has decreased.

The constructed facilities continue to be maintained and inspected under the supervision of NEXUBA. This ensures the sustainability of the project and the infrastructure built.

Mobile health care in the east of Bali

The numerous positive feedbacks from the local authorities and especially from the population encourage us to continue the services started at the end of 2019, to expand the areas and to seek donors for their funding.

Stunting programme Malnutrition

"The number of malnourished children could increase sharply due to COVID-19 if action is not taken quickly," Unicef Indonesia wrote in a consultation dated 30 June 2020.
